How it works
Customers will work alongside Metal Nation staff to design and format files to efficiently utilize the automated cutting process. The plasma system is equipped with a Hypertherm XPR300 allowing customers to produce high quality parts. What's even better is that the Hypertherm consumables are provided by Metal Nation Machinery.
Deburring / De-slagging
The customer can utilize the deburring machine to make the part processing more efficient. After training, customers have access to a part processing machine used to remove unwanted scale and slag. The deburring machine is equipped with a pneumatic suction table to secure individual parts. Brushes and discs travel on a radial arm and moved across each part by the operator. The customer can then move parts to the press brake or material packaging.
Files can be created by Metal Nation staff at an hourly rate, or customers can submit their own files to create nested programs for efficient usage of material and rental time. Once files are created they can be re-used any anytime. Files that are created are 100% ownership of the customer.
CNC Press Brake
The Ermaksan CNC Press Brake is available to members after a training course is completed. The machine is equipped with a Delem DA-58T CNC control, allowing customers to create and store files for repeated use. Customers may use their own tools for specific applications after a set-up by Metal Nation technician is approved.
Materials / Material Handling
Materials are the responsibility of the customer. Bay 5 is designated for unloading and storage for the duration of the project. Scrap bins are located on site (materials become property of Metal Nation if utilized). Metal Nation staff use a 20 Ton overhead crane to move sheets up to 3" thick or 5' x 10' in dimension. Material hauling is available at additional cost and subject to load specs.
